Due to the increasing complexity and costs of maintaining the McLEAR Ring prepaid programme, we made the extremely difficult decision to discontinue the programme. We will be focusing on strengthening and supporting strategic business relationships and continuing to develop new and more efficient technologies. Watch this space.
As we informed everyone over a number of emails, you will now not be able to use your ring to make payments or add money into your RingPay account.
If your account was still holding a balance upon closure please follow the below instructions on how to reclaim your remaining funds via a digital transfer only, to a bank account held in your name. McLear Limited can no longer refund any remaining wallet balances directly, and you must apply for this through PayrNet Limited.
How your funds will be returned
PayrNet will return your funds via a bank transfer only and to a bank account held in your name. To claim your remaining funds, please complete the following form and provide the following information:
- Your name as it appears on the account
- Address the card was registered to
- Your date of birth
- Email address registered to the card
- A copy of your bank details by way of a bank statement. Please ensure the Account number, sort code and your Name as the Account Holder are visible.
This is to comply with PayrNet’s compliance processes and to ensure that funds are returned to a bank account held in your name. In order to follow regulatory requirements PayrNet may request additional documentation from you to verify your account and to process your return of funds via a digital transfer only, to a bank account held in your name.
